Patrick Clark, Volunteer Fire Fighter

Patrick Clark joined the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company in 2018, but his life of fire service began at a much earlier age when he hung around the local firehouse with his father, and ultimately followed in his footsteps to become a firefighter himself. Upon being sworn in as a probationary member, Clark quickly mastered driving and pumping the fire engine and acting as a line officer, in addition to his many other tasks and responsibilities. In a few short years, Clark went from trainee to trainer, helping new personnel acclimate to the day crew, while also bridging the gap between members and contractors. In addition to his exemplary firefighting skills, Clark also helps out with handyman tasks around the firehouse. With a personality that won’t let him sit still, he’s always willing to spend extra time at the station fixing and improving things, or looking for projects and challenges that will benefit the good of the Company.
